A note on the Future of Hockey Sense
June will be the last month of operations for the newsletter
You may have noticed a slowdown in content on this site lately and for that I apologize, but it is with good reason that things have tapered off and now I can let you know why. I have been offered a new opportunity that I felt was best for me and my family to accept. This wasn’t something I went looking for. It found me. I can’t go into all of the details yet, but I will remain in hockey, you will be seeing continued NHL Draft and prospect coverage from me and as of right now, the Talking Hockey Sense podcast is coming with me where I’m going.
This will be the last month of Hockey Sense on Substack. I will not be collecting subscription fees in the month of June (anyone that got charged the last two days will be refunded). I will continue to produce content through the end of June for this site. All annual subscribers will be receiving prorated refunds on, or around July 1. If you do not receive your refund at that time, please notify me at hockeysensewithcp@gmail.com and I will get it taken care of. You can also request an early refund by email and I will take care of that immediately.
To all my subscribers, I cannot thank you enough. The support this site has received from Day 1 has blown me away and I couldn’t be more honored that you found it worth your time and money. My hope is that you always got something out of each piece of content I produced and I was able to repay you for your support in allowing me to continue doing what I love and extending a career that has brought me so much joy.
Once I am able to announce my next stop, I’ll do it on Hockey Sense first. So I’ll save the long goodbye until it’s really time to go. But I wanted to make sure that everyone knew what was going on and explain why you haven’t been seeing much from me.
Coming soon, I’ll have Part 2 of my U18 Worlds player reports and a few more newsletters on a host of other topics to close out Hockey Sense with a flourish.
I have enjoyed writing in this space for the last 16 months and I cannot thank you enough for being right there along with me.
Stay tuned for more updates soon.
